# Photograph the timesheet. *The attendance record writes itself.*

Pasha Kintai is attendance management for small Japanese manufacturers who still run on paper and have good reasons to. Photograph the sheet with any phone; AI-OCR reads the handwriting and produces a record aggregated under Japanese labor law. JPY 100 per person per month, tax excluded, and only for the people who actually worked.

## Paper in, defensible record out

*Figure: How Pasha Kintai works. A paper timesheet is photographed with an ordinary phone. AI-OCR reads the handwriting into an attendance record, which is aggregated under Japanese labor law. Corrections route to approvers named in advance, and the result exports as PDF, Excel or CSV. Billing counts only the people who actually clocked in that month.*

The photograph does not need to be square to the page, and the sheet does not need to be clean. Both of those constraints were removed because a factory floor produces neither.

The hard part was never the OCR call. It was designing an attendance record that stays defensible under Japanese labor law after a machine has filled it in: aggregation that follows the statutes, corrections that route to approvers named in advance, and an audit trail a labor inspector can follow back to the original photograph.

## One plan, and you are billed for use

| | |
| --- | --- |
| Price | JPY 100 per person per month, tax excluded. One plan, every feature |
| Setup fee | None |
| What is counted | Only users with at least one clock-in or OCR import that month |
| Example | Ten active users is JPY 1,000 per month, tax excluded |
| A quiet month | Costs nothing. There is also a pause function |
| Minimum term | None. Cancel at any time |
| Free trial | One month or longer, every feature, no cap on users or uploads, no credit card |

Usage-based billing is the point rather than a promotion. Seasonal work, a busy-period-only crew, or a plant that shuts for two weeks in August should not generate an invoice for people who did not work. Attendance software that charges for every registered employee, whether or not they worked that month, quietly punishes seasonal businesses — and those are exactly the businesses paper survives in.
